Setting up the Affilo app is a seamless process that doesn't require any coding expertise. The setup process involves just two simple steps:
a. Enabling App embed in your Shopify admin
b. Adding the tracking pixel in your Shopify admin
Details below:
a. Enabling App embed in your Shopify admin
To activate App embed, navigate to 'Sales channels', choose 'Online Store' from the dropdown menu, and then click on the 'Customize' button. Once the customization page loads, go to the 'App embeds' section located in the top left corner and toggle the switch to enable the Affilo app. See screenshot for reference: [click screenshots to enlarge]
b. Adding tracking pixel to your Shopify admin:
To add tracking pixel, please click on 'Settings' and then 'Customer events' as in the example screenshots below:
In the pixel code area, remove the sample data and then copy and paste the provided pixel code into the designated code box.
The tracking pixel mentioned above does not have any impact on the speed of your website and does not slow it in any way.
Once you have pasted the tracking pixel, click on 'Save' button in top bar. Once the pixel is saved, please remember to connect the pixel by clicking on 'Connect' button.
That's it! The tracking pixel is ready after connecting and your orders can start getting tracked right away.
